To change that, we craft custom solar and battery systems measured to how you live and install them with care, making the USVI more resilient one home and business at a time.
To give homes and businesses across the USVI power they own and control that’s engineered around evidence and backed by a reliable, proactive team.
When Hurricane Irma tore through the Caribbean in 2017, it reshaped life on the islands. St. John lost close to 90% of its above-ground power lines, and most people went without electricity for more than four months.
At the time, Tucker and I were juggling relief logistics while raising a young family. My newborn daughter, my five-year-old son, and I were staying in Florida while Tucker traveled back and forth working with relief efforts. We felt responsible for our island family, and everyone was collectively improvising systems to keep life running for the community. It was chaotic and difficult, and it became clear that energy is the foundation of everyone's safety and basic needs.
Those years taught us that resilience is not abstract, and it looks like cold food and medication, charged phones, running water, safe nights, and being able to care for your people.
That is still the work. Every system we design and install is a piece of a more resilient territory, and we are grateful to build it alongside all the people who call these islands home.
The early days were about survival. As the islands moved from emergency relief to rebuilding, we set out to build back better.
We knew there had to be a better way to keep the power on. A way to connect people with clean, resilient energy that would hold no matter what was happening outside.
Through a partnership with solar veteran Al Simpler of Simpler Solar, we began training a small team on St. John. We chose the first projects for their impact: the Animal Care Center, St. John School of the Arts, and the Virgin Islands Montessori School and International Academy. We focused on nonprofits that could act as hubs, supporting the programs the community needed to move forward. Restoring their power gave people back more than lights and refrigeration. It gave back a sense of stability.

Every system is designed around a week-long load analysis that shows how you use power. Once designed, we install it with a craftsman's care, clean and exact throughout.
We reach out before you have to. You hear from us early and often, so the next step of your project is always clear.
After the installation, we monitor your system, stay easy to reach, and move fast whenever you need to troubleshoot or upgrade your system.
